Helping a Dog Sanctuary Make a Bigger Impact Online
How I helped Territorio De Zaguates, Costa Rica’s famous dog sanctuary, redesign their website to boost donations and tell their incredible story.
Territorio De Zaguates (Land of the Strays) is more than just a dog shelter—it’s a safe haven for thousands of abandoned dogs in Costa Rica. They provide care, love, and a second chance for dogs that might never find a home elsewhere.
When Daniel, the IT expert at the sanctuary, reached out for help, he had his hands full managing their tech needs. Web design wasn’t his forte, and with limited time to spare, he needed someone to bring their website to life. His goal? To create a site that not only shared their incredible mission but also made it easier to collect donations and support their life-saving work.
I jumped at the chance to be part of something so meaningful. The revamped website now tells the sanctuary’s story in a way that connects with visitors, encourages support, and makes donating effortless.
