The Challenge
The Cube Air's previous website, built on WordPress, was outdated and lacked the dynamic, modern feel the client desired. They sought inspiration from other websites with gradient backgrounds and dark themes, aiming to redesign everything into a one-page landing page showcasing their air filtration system. Initially, the plan included a 3D shape, but due to technical and budget constraints, this idea was abandoned in favor of using images.
The Solution
We initiated the project by creating a moodboard to guide the client through color and font choices. Introducing the Inter font and a new color palette, we designed the site in Figma. Without an existing brand guideline, the design process involved four iterations to ensure client satisfaction. Despite the addition of new sections during the design phase, we successfully developed the site in Webflow. A key feature requested by the client was dynamic text loading, which we implemented using GSAP, adding a modern touch to the website.
The Impact
The website was completed and launched slightly later than the initial deadline, but the final product exceeded client expectations. The new site effectively highlights The Cube Air's air filtration system with a sleek, modern design and dynamic elements, providing an improved user experience.
The Love
The client expressed their satisfaction with the following testimonial: "Eric did an amazing job. He was very responsive and got things done ahead of schedule. Our website came out looking amazing. We will continue working with him for ongoing updates to our site." While the project took longer due to delayed client responses, the end result was well worth the effort. We provided a video tutorial to help the client upgrade their web hosting and manage the site independently. The structure of the site, accommodating additional sections without compromising quality, is a point of pride in this project, demonstrating our commitment to delivering a high-quality product that meets client needs.
